Food safety law requires all food handlers to be trained according to their food handling work activities. Qualifications in Food Safety will assist food business operators to demonstrate that food handlers have been trained in food hygiene matters appropriate to the work that they do and therefore comply with their legal requirement. Employees who handle food will gain a firm grasp of the importance of food safety and knowledge of the systems, techniques and procedures involved. Food Safety is the new name for Food Hygiene and is available for the following sectors:
