The whole group of PTLLS courses are in the process of being discontinued, and are being replaced by a new set of Education and Training qualifications and they are call EAT (Education and Training). The TSP/ADT is being replaced with Level 3 Award in Training – Principles and Practice.
Level 3 Award in Training – Principles and Practice
This qualification replaces the Level 3 Award in Training Skills and Practice (TSP/ADT). It comprises Unit 2 of the Level 3 Award in Education and Training.
Who needs this qualification?
This qualification is the minimum requirement for trainers wishing to deliver both in-house or accredited qualifications.
Outline programme:
The Level 3 Award in Training – Principles and Practice is based on the double unit of the Level 3 Award in Education and Training
- Understanding and using inclusive teaching and learning approaches in education and training
TSP/ADT – Train the Trainer
It is intended that all existing trainers and teachers working in the publicly-funded sector will have to hold a recognized teaching qualification – either a Certificate or Degree in Education or one of the new qualifications.
This qualification will help candidates to gain a threshold licence to practise as a teacher, trainer or tutor.
